How to revoke a token approval

The first step to either swap or add liquidity to a pool requires you to give consent for the specific token. This greenlights a protocol to carry out a swap involving that token from your digital wallet.

There could be instances where you might need to withdraw token permissions. Some reasons for doing so include:

Potential breaches or compromises of your wallet.
To adhere to best practices and minimize risks related to theft or unauthorized access.

Instructions to withdraw token consent:

Navigate to the "authorization verification" segment on the following block explorers:
Etherscan
BscScan
PolygonScan

Input your public wallet address.

Withdraw the token's authorization specific to whatever protocol you've used.

Be mindful that you'll need to reauthorize the next time you wish to swap that particular token.

It's important to realize that there's usually a network fee associated with withdrawing a token's consent. Additionally, this action differs from detaching from a dapp.
