What is APY for staking $EMBR tokens?
Rewards that come from staking are measured in APY, or Annual Percentage Yield. In return for staking your tokens, you will receive a percentage of your tokens back in addition to the amount you originally locked up.
It is important to note that staking weekly for 15% APY does not earn you 15% each week, but rather, earns you 15% APY for the full year (52 weeks) if you stake at that weekly rate each week. Your rewards will be claimable at the end of the staking period (1 week, 4 weeks, 1 year, etc.) and they do not auto-compound.
Breaking down the APYs to rough weekly rates:
15% APY for 1 week of staking would net you roughly 0.29% per week
16.153% APY for 4 weeks of staking would net you roughly 0.31% per week
47.094% APY for 52 weeks of staking would net you roughly 0.91% per week
